Welcome to MENG Jewellery. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to MENG Jewellery.

MENG Jewellery operates this website and online store, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”). Our online store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) describe your rights and responsibilities when accessing our website or purchasing from MENG Jewellery.

By visiting, browsing, interacting with, or purchasing through our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Services.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude any rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

By using the Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your province, state, or jurisdiction of residence, or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required.

When making a purchase, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information, including your name, email address, billing information, payment information, and shipping address.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for activities conducted through your account.

SECTION 2 — OUR JEWELLERY

MENG Jewellery creates jewellery using materials that may include natural freshwater pearls, natural stones, crystals, sterling silver, stainless steel, brass, plated metals, enamel, and other materials as described on individual product pages.

Many of our pieces are handmade, hand-assembled, or hand-finished. Natural materials such as pearls, stones, and crystals naturally vary in shape, size, colour, texture, pattern, and surface characteristics. Small variations are part of the character of these materials and do not necessarily constitute defects.

We make reasonable efforts to display product colours, dimensions, materials, and appearance accurately. However, colours and proportions may appear differently depending on your device, screen settings, lighting, photography, or other factors.

Measurements provided on product pages are approximate unless otherwise stated.

SECTION 3 — PLATING, WEAR AND JEWELLERY CARE

Jewellery naturally experiences wear over time.

Gold plating, silver plating, finishes, enamel, and other surface treatments may gradually fade, change, scratch, or wear depending on frequency of use, skin chemistry, exposure to moisture, perfume, cosmetics, chemicals, friction, and storage conditions.

Normal wear and tear, including the gradual wearing of plating or surface finishes, is not considered a manufacturing defect.

To help preserve your jewellery, we recommend keeping it dry and avoiding direct contact with perfume, lotions, cosmetics, household chemicals, swimming pools, salt water, and other substances that may affect the finish.

Specific care instructions provided with a product should be followed where applicable.

Unless a product is specifically described as hypoallergenic, nickel-free, waterproof, tarnish-free, or suitable for a particular sensitivity, no such representation is made.

SECTION 4 — PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Our jewellery may be produced in small quantities or as one-of-a-kind pieces. Availability is therefore not guaranteed.

We reserve the right to:

limit quantities available for purchase;
discontinue products;
modify designs, materials, packaging, or product specifications;
restrict sales to certain individuals, regions, or jurisdictions; and
correct inventory errors.

If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and, where appropriate, issue a refund for the unavailable item.

SECTION 5 — ORDERS

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase products from MENG Jewellery.

An order is not considered accepted until your payment has been successfully processed and we have confirmed the order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases of:

suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions;
incorrect pricing or product information;
inventory errors;
payment issues;
suspected commercial resale without authorization; or
circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, the applicable amount will be refunded to your original payment method.

Please carefully review your order, shipping address, and contact information before completing checkout. Once an order has entered processing or shipment preparation, we may not be able to change or cancel it.

SECTION 6 — PRICING AND PAYMENT

Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed on our Canadian online store are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

Prices may change without notice.

Applicable taxes, shipping charges, duties, customs charges, or other fees may be added where applicable and will be disclosed during checkout when available.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information.

Promotional codes, discounts, gifts, or special offers may be subject to additional terms, expiration dates, minimum purchase requirements, exclusions, or other restrictions.

Unless otherwise stated, promotions cannot be combined.

Prices offered online may occasionally differ from prices offered at markets, pop-ups, retail partners, consignment locations, special events, or other sales channels.

SECTION 7 — SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Orders will be shipped according to the shipping options available at checkout and our Shipping Policy.

Estimated processing and delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Delivery may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, weather, service interruptions, customs processing, incorrect addresses, holidays, or other events.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address.

For international orders, the recipient may be responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country unless otherwise stated at checkout.

We are not responsible for customs delays.

Nothing in this section limits any delivery or cancellation rights available to you under applicable consumer protection law.

SECTION 8 — RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS

Any rights provided under our Refund Policy are in addition to rights that may be available to you under applicable law.

SECTION 9 — WARRANTIES AND REPAIRS

Certain MENG Jewellery products may be eligible for a specific repair, restringing, replacement, or other warranty as described on the product page, warranty documentation, or applicable policy.

Where a specific written warranty is provided, the terms and limitations of that warranty will apply.

Warranty coverage does not generally include damage resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, improper storage, loss, unauthorized repairs, or failure to follow jewellery-care instructions unless otherwise required by law.

SECTION 10 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, the content and creative work appearing through MENG Jewellery—including jewellery designs, product designs, photographs, illustrations, graphics, logos, branding, written content, packaging concepts, videos, and website materials—is owned by or licensed to MENG Jewellery and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

The Services are provided for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, manufacture from, commercially exploit, publish, sell, license, or create derivative works based on our protected materials without prior written permission from MENG Jewellery.

Purchasing a MENG Jewellery product does not transfer intellectual-property rights in the design of that product.

“MENG Jewellery,” associated logos, branding, and other brand identifiers may not be used without permission.

Third-party trademarks appearing through the Services remain the property of their respective owners.

SECTION 11 — REVIEWS, PHOTOS AND OTHER USER CONTENT

If you voluntarily submit a product review, photograph, testimonial, comment, suggestion, or other content to MENG Jewellery (“User Content”), you confirm that you have the right to provide that content.

Unless otherwise agreed, you grant MENG Jewellery a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce, display, publish, and share that User Content for purposes connected with operating and promoting MENG Jewellery, including on our website, social media, marketing materials, and other brand channels.

We will not knowingly present your User Content in a misleading manner.

We reserve the right to remove content that is unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, misleading, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.

MENG Jewellery's online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the technology that allows us to offer our products and Services online.

However, purchases made through our store are transactions directly between you and MENG Jewellery. Shopify is not the seller of MENG Jewellery products.

Your use of certain Shopify functionality may also be subject to Shopify's applicable terms and privacy practices.

If an order is cancelled because of an error after payment has been collected, we will refund the applicable amount.
